Celebrate Burns Night at The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant Make your Burns Night one of the bonniest ever with a Scottish feast at The Rib Room. Classic seasonal Scottish dishes are given a modern twist by head chef Ian Rudge, while the bar team has specially created a heather-infused cocktail to kickstart your celebration.
The menu includes Crowdie cheese, pickled vegetables, beetroot and roasted walnut salad with croutons, followed by pan fried scallop, Cullen Skink and cauliflower puree. Main is a loin of Highland venison, haggis and chestnut casserole, parsnip and apple. Finish with a tasting of Scotland, Cranachan, chocolate and Drambuie mousse with Dundee cake soufflé, and coffee with mini Tunnocks.
The Rib Room’s Burns menu is available 20-25 January 2012 for £50 per person, including five courses and a Slainte cocktail on arrival. For a full-blooded Burns experience, guests can hire The Buccleuch private dining room for £100 per person including a bottle of Glenmorangie Astar Single Malt to share and an extra course of haggis, neeps and tatties, welcomed by a piper and recital of the famous Burns ode.
